Job summary

Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center is seeking a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist (OB Cert) PRN in Las Vegas to join our obstetric team. You will prepare the surgical suite, assist during procedures, and help ensure safe, patient-centered care.

Qualified candidates have NBSTSA certification, BLS, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least two years of Labor & Delivery surgical tech experience in an acute care facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a surgical technician program required.
• Current NBSTSA Surgical Technician Certification required.
• Current BLS required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Minimum two (2) years Labor & Delivery surgical tech experience in an acute care facility required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures
• Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety
• Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures
• Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly
• Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience
