Job summary

Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center in Enola, PA is seeking a Surgical Technologist for Women’s Health. This full-time, 0.90 FTE night-shift position supports the surgical team by preparing instruments and supplies and assisting during procedures.

This role offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants, a tuition discount for eligible employees and dependents starting January 1, 2027, and a $2.50 night differential. Evening hours are 7:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Evidence of completion of an accredited surgical technologist program and certification; new grads may certify within 6 months.
• US Army/Navy/Air Force surgical tech training accepted.
• AHA BLS required prior to orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide sterile operating room environment and assist surgical team during procedures.
• Set up instrumentation and supplies for surgical procedures.
• anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide instruments promptly.
