Job summary

Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA is seeking a Surgical Technologist II for the Operating Room to assist the surgeon and the team during procedures. This role supports patient care in a fast-paced environment and requires adherence to sterile technique and strong teamwork.

The position offers an evening shift (11:00a–11:00p) with a $2.00/hour shift differential and a $7,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program and NBSTSA certification (or eligible).
• Two years of experience in Surgical Technology preferred or required.
• Eligible for certification within six months of graduation if new graduate.

Responsibilities

• Support the surgeon and surgical team during operative procedures.
• Serve as a clinical resource to the team in the operating room.
• Assist with instrument handling, patient positioning, and maintaining sterile technique.
