Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center is seeking a surgical technologist to join our operating room team. You will prepare sterile environments, set up instrumentation, anticipate the surgical team's needs, and assist with procedures.

We offer a 7,500 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants and a 50% tuition discount for employees, dependents, spouse and children, plus a robust benefits package.

Competenze

• Completion of accredited surgical technologist program with certification.
• Certification within six months of graduation allowed for new grads.
• AHA BLS required prior to orientation.

Mansioni

• Provide a sterile patient care environment and prepare sterile instruments.
• Set up instrumentation for operating room procedures and anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
• Provide surgical assistance during operating room procedures and handle instruments and supplies.
