Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL seeks a Surgical Technologist for the Main Operating Room. You will identify and prepare instrumentation, exchange drug trays, and assist under licensed staff during procedures.

This full-time role requires graduate of an approved surgical technology program, current CPR from the American Heart Association, and prior surgical experience; certification is preferred. Day shift with weekend coverage and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires graduate of an approved surgical technology program
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
• Previous experience in surgery or on-the-job experience
• Certification in surgical technology preferred

Responsibilities

• Identifies and obtains required surgical instrumentation, equipment and supplies for procedures; exchanges drug trays under licensed staff guidance
• Performs scrub responsibilities per physician's preference and hospital policies; anticipates needs during procedures
• Maintains a safe environment and communicates effectively with patients across all age groups
