Texas Health Arlington Memorial is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist for the Main OR. You will support peri-operative care, assist with pre- and post-operative tasks, and ensure infection control and safety throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or military training in surgical tech.
• CST certification (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and program completion.
• 1 year operating room experience preferred.
• BCLS certification prior to independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Intra-operatively display skills conducive to desirable outcomes.
• Assist in peri-operative patient care planning with RN circulator.
• Coordinate patient care peri-operatively and uphold standards of nursing practice.
• Assist RN circulator with post-operative duties and instrument care.
• Maintain infection prevention and patient safety during care.
• Support age-specific care from infants to older adults.
