Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Surgical Technologist II for PRN opportunities. You will prepare the surgical suite, assist during operations, and collaborate with a skilled team using modern equipment.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT).
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from NBSTSA preferred.
BLS from AHA or Red Cross required upon hire.
Must be competent to perform as first scrub in Robotic, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine and Vascular Surgery.

Responsibilities

Set up and maintain the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment.
Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping.
Scrub in and provide instruments, handle specimens, and anticipate team needs.
Monitor patients and equipment during procedures and respond to concerns.
Uphold sterile technique and support a high-performing, collaborative team.
