Job summary

Surgicenter of Johnson County in Overland Park, KS seeks a PRN Surgical Operating Room Technician to support safe patient care under RN supervision. You will scrub, assist the surgeon, and help with turnover and data recording in the OR.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program, 1 year OR experience preferred, and a valid BCLS certificate. We offer comprehensive benefits and a strong team environment within HCA Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (preferred).
• One year experience in an operating room setting (preferred).
• Valid BCLS certification required upon employment (online not acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care and observation under RN direction.
• Scrub and assist surgeon at the operative field.
• Support OR turnover between cases and environmental cleaning.
• Prepare procedure room for next day and report shortages to supervisor.
