Mercy Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist II at Memorial Regional Medical Center to assist surgeons and nurses in the operating room. You will prepare the OR, assemble supplies, and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent, BLS, and CST/ NBSTA/TS-C/NCCT certification, with at least one year of experience. Certification in Virginia may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or vocational certificate in surgical technology is required.
• Current BLS certification and CST/NBSTA/TS-C/NCCT certification are required.
• Virginia CST certification is required if residing in Virginia.
• Minimum of one year experience as a Surgical Technologist.

Responsabilités

• Assemble supplies and equipment for operative procedures.
• Provide supplies to the surgical team and maintain aseptic technique.
• Report implants, catheters, drains and packing to the circulator.
• Prepare skin prep and assist with pre/post procedure cleaning.
• Support with maintaining equipment and instrumentation inventories.
• Demonstrate familiarity with MIS, laparoscopy, lasers, and robotics.
