Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist II at St. Francis Eastside in Greenville, SC. The role supports surgeons and nurses, preparing the operating room and ensuring aseptic technique throughout procedures.

The position requires an Associate degree or equivalent in Surgical Technology, BLS, relevant CST/NBSTA/TS-C/NCCT certification, and at least one year of experience. This on-site role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree, Vocational Certification, or Military Certificate in Surgical Technology is required.
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association and CST/NBSTA/TS-C/NCCT certification is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Surgical Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Assemble supplies and equipment required for operative procedures.
• Provide supplies to the surgical team during the procedure and maintain aseptic technique.
• Report implanted devices, catheters, drains, and packing to circulator.
• Prepare and perform skin prep as indicated by the procedure.
• Assist with pre- and post-procedure cleaning of the operative room.
• Demonstrates understanding of patients' Advance Directives.
• Demonstrates knowledge of MIS equipment, laparoscopy, and robotics.

Education
