Job summary

Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles is seeking a Surgical Technologist II to assist in surgical operations under the direction of a licensed caregiver. You will prepare operating rooms, arrange equipment, and support the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures.

The position requires 2 years of surgical procedures experience, and education including a high school diploma plus vocational/technical training; BLS is preferred and Certified Surgical Technologist preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED - minimum.
• Vocational/Technical Diploma Includes the ability to verify on the job training of participating institution - minimum.
• Vocational/Technical Diploma Performs independently in two (2) specialties - minimum.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical operations under supervision and guidance of licensed staff.
• Prepare operating rooms and arrange equipment for procedures.
• Communicate effectively with nurses, surgeons, and other health care team members to ensure smooth teamwork.
