Cedars-Sinai seeks a Surgical Technologist I to join the intra-operative team. You will ensure a safe OR environment and assist the surgeon with instrument handling, sterile technique, and patient safety throughout procedures.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a technical diploma, BLS, and at least 1 year of surgical experience. This on-site role offers exposure to high-quality care in a world-class setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; vocational/technical diploma preferred.
• BLS certification required; CST preferred.
• 1 year of surgical experience encouraged.

Responsabilités

• Perform first scrub role in basic procedures with sterile technique.
• Prepare OR environment and PPE; maintain sterile field.
• Set up instruments, supplies, and equipment; ensure proper functioning.
• Assist surgeon by passing instruments and handling specimens.
• Participate in time-out verification and patient safety checks.
