Job summary

Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center in Enola, PA is seeking a PRN Ultrasonography Technologist to produce high-quality ultrasonic recordings for physicians. The role includes vascular sonography responsibilities and requires flexible evening and night shifts.

Applicants must be ARDMS registered or eligible, with RVT registry within 6–12 months, BLS certification, and completion of a CAHEP-accredited DMS program. Competitive benefits and a supportive environment are offered.

Responsibilities

  • Produce ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for physicians.
  • Perform vascular ultrasound as part of the team.
  • Adhere to established protocols and maintain equipment.
  • Support shift coverage including evenings and nights.

Evening Shift Differential: $2.00/hour

Night Shift Differential: $2.50/hour

Hours: Varied Shifts/Hours, Holidays, and Call required

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Produce ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physicians. Includes vascular technologists.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S)
  • Must be registered or registry eligible by ARDMS- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) registry required within six (6) months of employment for sonographers with two (2) or more years' experience, and within one (1) year for sonographers with less than two (2) years' experience.
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon orientation completion.
  • Graduate of CAHEP accredited DMS program
  • Must obtain ARDMS credentialing within 1 year of hire date
