The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualifying roles and relocation assistance for moves over 50 miles. Education includes an Associate’s Degree or Surgical Technology certification, with BLS required within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Surgical Technology or equivalent
• Surgical Technology certificate or completion
• Experience in lieu of education accepted by some postings
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Maintains sterile environment and aseptic technique during procedures.
• Assists in organizing supplies and equipment for efficient operation.
• Ensures safety and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
• Charges for equipment and supplies and assists with turnover and room setup.
• Performs sterilization, disinfection and documentation per policy.
• Scrub duties and instruction for medical students and residents.
