Job summary

Carle Health is seeking skilled Surgical Technicians to join our Operating Room team in a fast-paced perioperative environment. You’ll be supported by RNs and collaborate with surgeons, nurses and staff while providing safe intraoperative care.

We offer full-time and part-time roles with flexible scheduling, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package. Education requirements include an Associate’s Degree or Surgical Technology certificate, plus BLS

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Surgical Technology certificate required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• Independently scrubs basic surgical procedures with aseptic technique.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology applied to care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile environment and asepsis throughout procedures.
• Assist with supplies, equipment, and room turnover.
• Position patients and prep instruments for procedures.
• Scrub in, disassemble, and sterilize instrumentation per policy.
• Support perioperative team and ensure patient safety.
