Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Surgical Technologist First Assistant for an on-site role in Winter Haven. The position is full-time with early start hours (0600-0900) and occasional weekend work, with on-call duties.

The candidate will join a team delivering high-quality surgical support in the main OR. The role requires 3+ years as Surgical Tech or 2+ years as Surgical Technologist First Assistant, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Surgical Tech OR 2-years Surgical Technologist First Assistant - Main OR experience.
• High School or Equivalent
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
