Job summary

Novant Health's Mint Hill Medical Center is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support the safe, efficient conduct of invasive procedures. Under surgeon and RN supervision, you will prepare operating rooms, manage sterile equipment and assist during surgeries.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program or military 68D, and CST/TS-C/NRCST/SA-C certifications preferred; SC region certification required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology program or Military Training Equivalent (68D).
• Current CST/TS-C/NRCST/SA-C certification preferred; SC region certification required for South Carolina region.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and arrange sterile equipment.
• Assist surgeons during invasive procedures.
• Ensure sterile technique and proper equipment function in the OR.
• Support a safe and efficient surgical environment for patient care.
