Job summary

Advocate Condell Medical Center in Illinois is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the Surgery team. The role supports sterile technique, prepares the operative field and assists the nurse in the operating room.

The position is full-time, day shift with on-call requirements including nights, weekends and holidays. Candidates may have graduate training or two years of surgical scrub experience and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of surgical technologist program or 2 years of surgical scrub experience.
• CPR certified; CST certification to be obtained within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile field and assist in operative procedures.
• Prepare surgical field and instruments for the procedure.
• Collaborate with health care team to ensure safe patient care.
