Samaritan Hospital, part of Trinity Health, seeks a Surgical Technologist for day shifts on a part-time, per diem basis. You will assist as first scrub, prepare ORs, maintain sterile fields, and support the surgical team.

Requirements include completing a nationally accredited surgical technology program with CST credential, NYS LPN license option, or military training equivalence, plus 1–2 years of OR experience preferred. Pay range is $27.15–$35.75 per hour.

Formación

• Completed a nationally accredited surgical technologist program with CST credential.
• May be employed or contracted to practice during 12 months after program completion.
• May not continue beyond that period without CST credential.

Responsabilidades

• Provide assistance as first scrub at the surgical table for select procedures.
• Create and maintain sterile field; prepare operating rooms.
• Monitor scrub/gown technique and sterile field integrity.
• Inspect sterile items for contamination and maintain sterility of instruments.
• Record accurate instrument, sponge and needle counts as per policy.
• Position and transport patients as needed.
