Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Surgical Technologist program or on-the-job training, and preferred BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
• Experience: Clinical experience of at least one year or graduate of Surgical Tech program.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aseptic technique and prepare required equipment and supplies.
• Scrub and pass instruments during surgical procedures under supervision.
• Assist with stocking, replenishing, and organizing supplies in the OR.
• Assist with housekeeping to maintain OR cleanliness and safety.
• Be available for call on scheduled basis and perform other duties as assigned.
