Qualifications

• Graduate of a surgical technology program, or graduate of a school of practical nursing with NBSTSA/NCCT certification.
• Current license in good standing to practice as a practical nurse in Ohio (if applicable).
• BLS healthcare provider training required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in meeting goals and initiatives for surgery department, including room turnover and first-case on-time starts.
• Assists in training/orientation of associates as directed by the Clinical Educator.
• Maintains a safe environment for the patient and sterile techniques.
