Mount Carmel Health System, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking a Surgical Technician to support the RN and the surgical team in a fast-paced operating room. You will set up and maintain the sterile field and assist the surgeon during operative procedures, with emphasis on safety and patient-centered care.

Minimum qualifications include a surgical technology program or PN school, BLS certification, and ability to maintain sterile technique.

Formación

• Graduate of a surgical technology program or graduate of a school of practical nursing with applicable licensure.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Maintains sterile technique and supports surgeon during procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in meeting goals for the surgery department such as room turnover and first-case on-time starts.
• Assists in training/orientation of associates as directed by the Clinical Educator.
• Maintains a safe environment for the patient.
• Maintains sterile techniques.

Certificate of Surgical Technology (NBSTSA/NCCT)

Practical Nursing certificate and Ohio PN license
