Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Preferred: at least 1 year operating room scrub experience.
• 36-hour/week schedule with day shift and weekend/holiday rotations.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and review case cart to ensure supplies and sterile instruments are available.
• Open sterile supplies according to aseptic technique.
• Scrub for cases per sterile procedures.
• Assist surgeons by preparing the field and positioning the patient.
• Disassemble sterile field and instruments for decontamination.
• Perform complete and accurate counting procedures to promote patient safety.
• Move and transfer patients to and from stretchers and beds.
