Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, Colorado is hiring a Surgical Technician to join our Operating Room team. You will set up sterile tables, assist surgeons, prepare medications, and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.

This full-time day-shift role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and eligibility for shift differentials. Applicants should have a High School diploma, completion of a Surgical Technician program, and BLS certification. Experience in cardiovascular procedures strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv. required.
• Completion of an approved Surgical Technician program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Cardiovascular (CV) experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications for procedures.
• Prepares and labels solutions and medications used, reporting amounts for charting.
• Prepares back table and mayo stand, anticipating surgeon needs.
• Provides supplies or equipment for the surgeon, nurses, and anesthesiologist.
• Maintains sterile technique and assists in prepping the room for next patient.
