Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a Day shift Surgical Technician in Albuquerque, NM, for a full-time role. You will support surgeons in the OR, hand instruments, and ensure sterile technique under RN supervision. A sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is available.

Requirements include a Surgical Technology program graduate, a high school diploma or GED, and BLS within 14 days of hire. Prior OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Anatomy and Physiology, sterile technique, medical terminology, instrumentation knowledge.
• Clinical competencies; sterile technique; operating room instruments and supplies.
• Six months OR or ambulatory surgery experience.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists surgeons with surgical procedures in the operating room under RN supervision, conveying sterile instruments and supplies.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety.
