Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program or military/hospital training with 5 years acute care Surgical Tech experience.
• Certification as CST or TS-C is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment, instruments, supplies and sterile field for procedures.
• Assist with specimen preparation and disposal as needed.
• Participate in inventories of sterile supplies.
• May assist in patient transport as part of the perioperative team.
