Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's New England Baptist Hospital ambulatory surgical center in Brookline, MA is seeking a surgical technologist for a full-time day shift. Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist certificate
• Heart Saver certification required within 60 days of hire from American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program

Responsibilities

• Preoperative case management and OR prep.
• Pass instruments to the surgeon during the intraoperative phase.
• Maintain the sterile field and assist with dressings.
• Assist with instrument processing and supply management in the ASC.
• Support the RN and surgeon to ensure patient safety.
• Update surgeon preference cards as needed.
