Job summary

Duke Health in Durham, NC is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Ambulatory Surgery Center. The role supports sterile technique and intraoperative instrumentation under RN guidance, with focus on infant to geriatric patients.

You will work closely with surgeons to ensure safe, efficient procedures and prepare the operating room for cases across multiple specialties. Schedule is 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with no holidays or weekend calls; relocation assistance available for

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or maintains an accredited Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT or NBSTSA).
• Or, provides evidence of the successful completion of an appropriate training program for Surgical Technology in the United States Military.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in a sterile environment and assist in preparing the operating room.
• Maintain sterile technique and instrument counts to support safe patient care.
• Assist with intraoperative instrumentation and patient positioning under supervision.
