5-8 HR SHIFTS 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM SURGICAL TECH POSITION AT CHARLOTTE ORTHOPEDIC HOSPITAL
SERVICES: HIP, SHOULDER, KNEE, FOOT & ANKLE, ELBOW, HAND & WRIST, ORTHOPEDIC CASES
The Surgical Technologist works under the supervision of a surgeon and registered nurse to facilitate safe and effective invasive surgical procedures. Responsibilities include ensuring a safe operating room environment, proper functioning of equipment, and conducting procedures that maximize patient safety. Surgical technologists apply sterile and aseptic techniques, possessing expertise in human anatomy, surgical procedures, and the use of surgical tools and technologies to assist physicians during invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
