Job summary

This hourly role requires a Bachelor's or AS in Vet Tech, CVT/ALAT preferred, and 0-2 years of experience. Work conditions include exposure to animal handling and lab environments with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or AS in veterinary technology required or equivalent.
• 0-2 years related work experience preferred.
• CVT or ALAT certification preferred.
• Knowledge of research animal physiology and care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares surgical and cath lab suites for procedures, including stocking supplies.
• Monitors anesthesia and animal vitals during interventional procedures.
• Administers medications intra-procedure and collects samples for analysis.
• Maintains instruments and sterilization, and supports imaging equipment.
• Provides professional client service and maintains a clean work area.
