Responsibilities

• Leads with a professional, supportive attitude.
• Performs scrub duties and anticipates surgeon needs during procedures.
• Ensures correct patient and procedure identification; reports unusual findings to the RN.
• Maintains sterile technique and prepares instruments/equipment for upcoming procedures.
• Promotes patient safety, confidentiality, and clean, organized work areas.
• Participates in team-based problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Follows policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
