Georgia Eye Partners is a specialty eye care practice in Metro Atlanta, dedicated to providing high-quality medical and surgical eye care. Our services include general eye care, complex surgical procedures such as cataracts, glaucoma, corneal disease, refractive surgeries like LASIK, oculoplastic surgery, and laser aesthetic procedures through OPAL Aesthetics.

We are hiring a Surgical Technician to assist physicians and the Nurse Manager by preparing and maintaining instruments and procedural needs for surgeries, in accordance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Obtaining supplies from other areas as needed
• Returning supplies and equipment to the appropriate location
• Maintaining a neat and sterile Central Sterile area
• Handling health or safety hazards for self and patients
• Reporting unusual occurrences or incidents to the Clinical Director
• Performing other duties as required

Qualifications:

• 0-3 years of experience
• Current BCLS certification and annual in-services completion
• Ability to work in a surgical environment with patient contact, hazardous chemicals, and infectious diseases under moderate noise levels
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
• Organizational and prioritization skills
• Manual dexterity, mobility, visual acuity, and good interpersonal skills
