Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Surgical Tech Student Intern to gain hands-on experience in surgical areas. This temporary role will be co-assigned with a Certified Surgical Tech and support the team under supervision from Registered Nurses and physicians.

The position offers exposure to direct and indirect patient care in a clinical setting, with on-the-job training and safety protocols. High school diploma or GED and active enrollment in a surgical tech program are required; BLS certification

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited Surgical Tech program and able to participate in a clinical setting.
• No prior professional experience required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of start.

• Assist in surgical procedures and patient care activities under supervision.
