Current enrollment in an accredited Surgical Technology program is required; no prior experience is necessary. The position emphasizes patient safety, aseptic technique, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Under the observation of the surgical tech, OR Nurse or Surgeon performs a variety of preparatory and related services for patient care.
• Assists with maintaining a sterile field and aseptic technique.
• Scrub assistant for procedures and supports environmental disinfection and safety in the OR.
• Transports patients and supplies and ensures equipment is ready for cases.
• May perform other related duties as assigned.
