Qualifications

• Licensed Compact State Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date.
• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required or required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating suites with drapes, solutions and specialized instrumentation to ensure a sterile, safe environment.
• Anticipate needs and provide correct instruments and supplies during active surgery.
• Assist with transportation, positioning and draping of patients prior to surgery to support patient safety.
• Organize surgical tools and perform instrument counts to maintain accuracy throughout the operative process.
