Job summary

Westlawn Surgery Center in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a PRN Sterile Processing Technician to support the operating room team and ensure sterile instruments meet quality standards.

The role involves caring for and maintaining all surgical instrumentation, preparing instrument trays, and adhering to sterilization procedures. No weekends, no call, no holidays and a patient-centered work environment are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician.
• 2-3 years’ experience as Instrument Room Technician.
• Experience with steam/ gravity sterilizers and Sterrad sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and tray setup.

Responsibilities

• Cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation.
• Sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the sterile processing department.
• Supports OR staff to ensure timely and safe case flow.
