Job summary

Greenview Surgery Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a PRN Surgical Tech to support operating room activities under RN supervision. Responsibilities include scrubbing, assisting surgeons, preparing the OR, and maintaining asepsis.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• One year experience in an operating room setting (preferred)
• Current BCLS certification required at employment (online not acceptable)

Responsibilities

• Assist in scrubbing and assisting surgeon at the operative field
• Prepare the operative suite by gathering supplies, equipment, and instruments
• Maintain surgical asepsis in handling instruments, dressings, and supplies
• Assist in turnover of OR suites between cases and assist with room readiness for the next day
