Job summary

Greenview Surgery Center in Bowling Green, KY, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Patient Care Technician on a PRN basis. You will provide safe patient care by transporting patients and maintaining cleanliness, while supporting OR turnover, sterile processing, and supply management.

Responsibilities include transferring patients, cleaning between cases, ensuring equipment readiness, handling phones, and data entry. One year of patient care experience and a valid BCLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• One year patient care assistance in a nursing or environmental services environment.
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment (online certification not acceptable).

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician for our ambulatory surgery center. You will provide safe and effective patient care by transporting patients safely and efficiently while maintaining cleanliness. You will assist with operating room turnover, sterile processing, inventory and supply maintenance. What you will do in this role

• Facilitate the transfer, positioning and transport of your patients
• Assist in overturning your operating rooms between cases
• Perform terminal cleaning of your surgical area
• You will maintain sufficient supply levels, cleanliness and orderliness of all your equipment and supplies
• You will answer phones
• You will assist with computer data entry

Greenview Surgery Center is located in Bowling Green, Kentucky. We serve the residents of Warren County and surrounding areas of southern Kentucky. Our center opened in the fall of 2019. We are a part of Surgery Ventures powered by HCA Healthcare and the first center in Kentucky. We are located off of I-65. The center is in near the Corvette plant and Museum and Western Kentucky University. Our AAAHC certified center performs over 275 cases a month. We offer ENT, endoscopy, gastroenterology, gynecology, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastics and urology services.
