Qualifications

• Graduated of an accredited Surg Tech program.
• Hospital Sponsored Training Program.
• Minimum of 1 year of Surg Tech Experience in a Hospital Setting.
• BCLS required within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Endoscopy Technician required within 1 year of hire.
• Prior Endoscopy Experience; Certified OR Technician; or Certified SPD Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical field and provide appropriate instrumentation and supplies for procedures.
• Ensure patient safety through adherence to aseptic techniques and universal precautions.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, physicians, nursing staff, and other hospital departments.
• Apply knowledge of operative procedures including draping, suturing, and supply management.
