Job summary

The VIOS Clinic in Bayonne, NJ is seeking an OR Tech II to collaborate with perioperative nurses, organize and deliver age-appropriate patient care, and ensure safe surgical environments with desired physiologic responses during procedures.

The role requires completion of Surgical Technician training, 2-3 years of scrub experience across service lines, NBSTSA certification, and current BLS. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a Surgical Technician training program.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in scrub roles across various service lines such as robotics, vascular, neurovascular, orthopedics, trauma, and more.
• Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA) and current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, flexibility, multitasking ability, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Work evening shifts from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, including every other weekend and holidays.
• Provide individualized patient care, maintain a safe surgical environment, and support physiologic stability during procedures.
• Possess strong technical skills and knowledge of multiple surgical service lines.

• Assist in maintaining a sterile environment and supporting surgical teams.
• Prepare and organize surgical instruments and supplies tailored to specific procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout perioperative care.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other healthcare professionals.
