Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Surgical Technician for the Operating Room. The role supports the surgical provider and circulating nurse, maintains the sterile field and prepares equipment for procedures.

This full-time position includes day/evening shifts and on-call responsibilities for nights, weekends and holidays, with a 40-hour work week. Qualified candidates hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have graduated from an accredited surgical technologist

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical provider and circulating nurse through preparation and assistance with surgical procedures.
• Prepare surgical equipment and provide equipment to surgeons during surgery, maintaining sterile environment in the operating room.
• On-call responsibilities are required for nights, weekends and holidays.
