Job summary

The Surgical Technician is assigned to the Surgical/Specialty Care Service Line, VA Health Care System, West Palm Beach, FL. The Surgical Technician works independently to support the nurse and physician in the Operating Room and participates with the team in planning and implementing complex procedures under supervision.

Proficiency in English is required for direct patient care. Preferred experience includes CST/TS-C, 3+ years in surgical tech roles, and experience with robotic platforms MAKO

Qualifications

• Specialized experience includes knowledge of medical instruments, anatomy, physiology and aseptic technique to prepare and protect sterile field during surgery.
• Education: one full year of graduate education (18 semester hours) or an internship in relevant coursework.
• Documents: transcripts must be submitted with your application materials.
