Job summary

Advocate Health's Surgery Center in Clemmons, NC seeks a Surgical Tech or perioperative nurse for a PRN, part-time position. You will render care to assigned patients under the RN, assist with direct patient care, and prepare and stock the Operating Room before and after surgery.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology program or an accredited school of Nursing.
• OR experience is required.
• BCLS certification is required; certification in specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Renders care to assigned patients under the direction of the RN (RN).
• Assists with direct patient care activities as directed.
• Prepares and stocks the Operating Room before and after surgery.
• Gathers clean and sterile supplies and sets up sterile instrument fields.
• Maintains aseptic techniques during procedures.
