Job summary

Mission Health’s Highlands-Cashiers Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist PRN to join our perioperative team. You will assist the surgeon, scrub for procedures, and support patient care before, during, and after surgery in a community hospital setting.

The role requires graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, BCLS certification, NBSTSA certification within the first year for most hires, and relevant clinical experience in an acute care OR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• LPN in surgical technologist role: graduate of an accredited LPN program.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care by assisting the surgeon in achieving desired surgical outcomes.
• Aids perioperative team by scrubbing and caring for the patient before, during and after surgical intervention.
