Job summary

Advocate Health’s Clemmons, NC surgery center is seeking a Surgical Technologist to render patient care under RN supervision and to prepare the OR for procedures. You will stock supplies, maintain aseptic technique, and assist with instrument handling in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Requirements include graduation from a Surgical Technology program or an accredited Nursing program, and OR experience. BCLS certification is preferred and full-time hours are 40 per week with 4–10 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology program or from an accredited school of Nursing.
• OR experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Renders care to assigned patients under the direction of the RN.
• Prepares and stocks the Operating Room before and after surgery; gathers clean and sterile supplies.
• Sets up sterile instrument fields; maintains aseptic techniques.
• Communicates effectively with the team and patients.
• Assists with instrument management and maintains safety and quality.
