Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Non-Certified Surgical Technologist to assist in the operating room and maintain sterile techniques. The role includes instrument handling, room turnover, and post-procedure prep. A high school diploma or GED and a Surgical Technologist course are required.

Two years OR experience is preferred, with ASC experience and ORT certification considered a plus. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Two years previous operating room experience.
• ASC experience preferred.
• ORT certification preferred.
• Training program for surgical technology in the armed forces, National Guard or US Public Health Services.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport to the decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
