Job summary

SCA Health, Idaho, is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support sterile prep, instrument handling and room turnover in operative suites. The CST will scrub during procedures and prepare rooms for the next patient.

The role requires a high school graduate or equivalent, completion of an accredited CST program, and BLS certification within 90 days. Prior CST experience is preferred. USD $30.00–$40.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Prior CST experience preferred.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• Successful completion of BLS within 90 days or current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the room and preparation for next patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
