Qualifications

• Completion of an OhioHealth OR ST fellowship or graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program preferred.
• High school diploma or GED; BLS/STS certification preferred.
• Candidate must demonstrate basic critical thinking and ability to anticipate surgeon needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgical cases by obtaining supplies, maintaining sterile field and assisting as second assistant.
• Assist with room and equipment cleaning, stock reprocessing and ensuring equipment safety.
• Participate in unit operations, mentor new associates and support departmental efficiency.
