Surgical Tech-OR at Baptist Health Lexington is a full-time role on third shift in the Operating Room. The position supports the perioperative plan of care, performing scrub duties and maintaining aseptic technique under RN supervision.

On-call weekends and holidays may apply, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth. Qualifications include an associate degree and completion of a Surgical Technology program, plus BLS certification criteria.

• Associate degree or completion of a Surgical Technology program.
• It is required to be competent in aseptic technique and perioperative care.

Performs scrub functions and other roles, which support the perioperative plan of care Demonstrates knowledge of operative procedures.* Demonstrates knowledge of and utilizes principles of aseptic technique including but not limited to gowning, gloving sterilization, and disinfection.* Actively participates in unit activities.* Ensures positive customer relations interactions.* On call weekends, weeknights, and holidays by rotation. **Requirements Surgical Tech-OR:*** Associate degree.* Completion of a Surgical Technology program.* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
