Surgical Tech-OR at Baptist Health Lexington is a full-time role on third shift in the Operating Room. The position supports the perioperative plan of care, performing scrub duties and maintaining aseptic technique under RN supervision.

On-call weekends and holidays may apply, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth. Qualifications include an associate degree and completion of a Surgical Technology program, plus BLS certification criteria.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or completion of a Surgical Technology program.
• It is required to be competent in aseptic technique and perioperative care.
• It is expected to work as part of the surgical team in the OR.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a member of the surgical team under RN direction.
• Performs scrub functions to support the perioperative plan of care.
• Demonstrates knowledge of aseptic technique and equipment handling.
• Participates in unit activities and maintains positive patient relations.
